Zavitz-Reeb Stone House

Built: Circa 1790

This stone house was constructed circa 1790 on 200 acres of land.  Made of local limestone, this house is 18 feet by 24 feet, with walls 24 – 27 inches thick.  The only source of heat is a large fireplace in the living area.  This building was moved to the village in 1995 & was fully restored in 1996.
