A brick building school house costing $960 was erected in 1866 at the north-west corner of Lot 27, Concession 4.There is a rope-pulled bell calling students to class.This building was moved down the back roads of Wainfleet in 1994 and fully restored.Children still love to come and be part of a “one-room school day.”
