Built: Circa 1778

Wainfleet’s first European settler, David Morgan Sr. settled on the Lakeshore circa 1778.  His granddaughter Mary, married Jacob Neff in 1841 and they built this cabin.  The log cabin was dismantled in Chippawa Park in Welland and in 1984 became the first building in the Marshville Heritage Village.
