Believed to be the oldest residence in Erie County, this home, built around 1810, is being redeveloped to provide a living history experience representing the lives of western New York's early settlers during the period before the construction of the Erie Canal. The Peace Garden here features local heritage plants, seasonal plantings and two carved sculptures of 1812-era personalities.
