Originally a Methodist Episcopal church, it later changed to Fulton Methodist and then Fulton Stone United.  The site was purchased from Isaac and Mary Nelson for $10.00 IN 1860.  The present building was built in 1866 from locally quarried limestone.  A Christian education building was added in 1958 and in the 1990’s the exterior stone was repointed and the stained glass windows restored.  The church is currently part of a 3 point charge worshipping as one on alternating Sundays.
