The Niagara Falls Armoury is one of eleven drill halls built in Ontario between 1896 and 1918 as both a training and recruitment centre during World War I, continuing its role in military action through the Second World War and the Korean War until it was decommissioned in 1999.

The armoury was built in the style of a late medieval fortress. it features simulated defense towers at the corners, a crenellated parapet and a massve front entrance formed by a tudor gothic arch. The red brick facade has limestone detailing such as windowsills surrounding capping and corbels now covered by paint.
