Built in 1815, the Fry House is a unique example of Pennsylvania German Mennonite architecture and was the homestead of Jacob Fry and his family. It has been restored to represent domestic life as it was in the house in 1835 . It offers a glimpse of the life of the pioneer-craftsman, with most of the original furnishings and family belongings intact. The floorplan is unique to European medieval architecture. The Fry House also showcases an important collection of textiles and weaving traditions.
